The Get Password Quality Requirements Extended Operation Handler provides a mechanism for the client to retrieve information about the constraints that the server will impose for user passwords. Applications that allow users to set their own passwords, or allow administrators to reset user passwords, can use this to provide information about the requirements that the new password must satisfy, and potentially to perform client-side validation for some of those requirements.
This extended operation may be used on its own to get the password requirements up front, or in conjunction with the password validation details control that provides feedback about which requirements were satisfied by an attempt to change the password.
The Get Password Quality Requirements Extended Operation Handler component inherits from the Extended Operation Handler
