Description

Create an RC script that may be used to start, stop, and restart the Metrics Engine on UNIX-based systems.

Examples

Generate an /etc/init.d/UnboundID-Metrics-Engine.sh shell script with the default Java executable and JVM arguments that will run as the user that invokes the script:
create-rc-script --outputFile /etc/init.d/UnboundID-Metrics-Engine.sh


Generate an /etc/init.d/UnboundID-Metrics-Engine.sh shell script with the default Java executable and JVM arguments that will run as the 'ds' user:
create-rc-script --outputFile /etc/init.d/UnboundID-Metrics-Engine.sh \
     --userName ds

Description Display Metrics Engine version information

-H
--help

Description Display general usage information

--help-debug

Description Display help for using debug options

--outputFile {path}

Description The path where the output file will be created

Description The name of the user account under which the server should run, if not specified the script will read the user account from config/server.user
