Statically Defined Recurring Task provide the ability to schedule any kind of task as a recurring task by providing fixed values for the object classes and attribute values to include in the tasks that are scheduled from this recurring task.

cancel-on-task-dependency-failure
Description | Indicates whether an instance of this Recurring Task should be canceled if the task immediately before it in the recurring task chain fails to complete successfully (including if it is canceled by an administrator before it starts or while it is running). If this is true, then the instance of this Recurring Task will also be considered a failure (with a state of "canceled before starting"), and if that instance is itself a dependency for any other Recurring Task instance, then that dependent task's cancel-on-task-dependency-failure property will be used to determine whether it should be canceled or preserved. |

Description | The set of attribute values that should be included in the tasks that are scheduled from this Statically Defined Recurring Task. Each value must be in the form {attribute-type}={value}, where {attribute-type} is the name or OID of an attribute type that is defined in the schema and permitted with the configured set of object classes, and {value} is a value to assign to an attribute with that type. A multivalued attribute can be created by providing multiple name-value pairs with the same name and different values. This property must only be used to provide values for attribute types that are specific to the kind of task being scheduled. It must not be used to specify values for generic attributes that apply to all types of tasks (for example, ds-task-id, ds-task-class-name, ds-task-scheduled-start-time, etc.). The values of those attributes will automatically be supplied by the server. |
