Subject Attribute To User Attribute Certificate Mapper

The Subject Attribute To User Attribute Certificate Mapper maps client certificates to user entries by mapping the values of attributes contained in the certificate subject to attributes contained in user entries.

subject-attribute-mapping

Description
Specifies a mapping between certificate attributes and user attributes. Each value should be in the form "certattr:userattr" where certattr is the name of the attribute in the certificate subject and userattr is the name of the corresponding attribute in user entries. There may be multiple mappings defined, and when performing the mapping values for all attributes present in the certificate subject that have mappings defined must be present in the corresponding user entries.

user-base-dn

Description
Specifies the base DNs that should be used when performing searches to map the client certificate to a user entry.
Default Value
The server will perform the search in all public naming contexts.

dsconfig Usage

To list the configured Certificate Mappers:

dsconfig list-certificate-mappers
     [--property {propertyName}] ...

To view the configuration for an existing Certificate Mapper:

dsconfig get-certificate-mapper-prop
     --mapper-name {name}
     [--tab-delimited]
     [--script-friendly]
     [--property {propertyName}] ...

To update the configuration for an existing Certificate Mapper:

dsconfig set-certificate-mapper-prop
     --mapper-name {name}
     (--set|--add|--remove) {propertyName}:{propertyValue}
     [(--set|--add|--remove) {propertyName}:{propertyValue}] ...

To create a new Subject Attribute To User Attribute Certificate Mapper:

dsconfig create-certificate-mapper
     --mapper-name {name}
     --type subject-attribute-to-user-attribute
     --set enabled:{propertyValue}
     --set subject-attribute-mapping:{propertyValue}
     [--set {propertyName}:{propertyValue}] ...

To delete an existing Certificate Mapper:
